A JOINT EXHIBITION WITH TOM HAVALA AT SUCKER CO. GALLERY 2019

“The pair lived parallel lives long before they met, growing up on the same street to both move and once again be neighbours. The foundation for 10/10 began when the two travelled independently to South Korea and Japan, at the same time, unaware of each other’s objective – to photograph. Now, a year after a new friendship has formed, the two combine their works to display 10 photographs each. The two bodies of work fit together – as does their friendship.”

A quintessential road trip across California — an early exercise to document the diversity of landscapes offered in a single state. Exploring the interplay between location and human presence, utilising roadside stops and tourist hotspots as a platform to snap fortuitous moments, each soaked in the never-ending Californian sun. These works were displayed in a limited edition self-published record.
